Purpose
At Kids Bike Lane, we believe that every child should be able to experience the enjoyment of owning and riding their own bicycle. Kids Bike Lane raises funds to provide bicycles to under-served and at-risk children, youth, and young adults.
Mission
Kids Bike Lane is a non-profit organization that partners with charities, community groups, civic organizations, corporations and individuals to provide bikes for under-served youth in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, with the goal of empowering them to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
Kids Bike Lane is formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
Our Board
The Kids Bike Lane board is made up of volunteers from different walks of life who share the same passion and purpose: helping under-served individuals obtain a bike to live a more healthy lifestyle, for transportation and enjoyment, and to make a positive change in their lives.
